The Detroit Lions picked up two compensatory draft picks due to the losses of CB Eric Wright and QB Drew Stanton during free agency last offseason.
Detroit was awarded pick No. 32 in Round 4 (No. 132 overall) and pick No. 39 in Round 7 (245). Here's a list of all the Lions' current slots in the 2013 NFL Draft:
Round 1, No. 5
Round 2, No. 4 (36 overall)
Round 3, No. 3 (65)
Round 4, No. 35 (132)
Round 5, No. 4 (137)
Round 6, No. 3 (171)
Round 7, No. 5 (211)
Round 7, No. 39 (245)
The Lions did not have a fourth-round pick this year prior to being assigned that compensatory selection - they traded their 2013 fourth-rounder and a 2012 seventh-rounder to Minnesota for fifth- and seventh-round selections last year.
Detroit used the fifth-rounder to select linebacker Tahir Whitehead out of Temple. The Lions then took LB Travis Lewis at No. 223.
