One of the challenges when it comes to ranking players by position in fantasy baseball is trying to determine which player is going to have that breakout season and return a profit to your auction buy or draft pick. When reviewing the list of-outfielders for the 2013 season, one of my picks to break out is-Austin Jackson-of the Detroit Tigers.
Jackson has shown nice growth his first two seasons in the league, increasing his walk rate both seasons and cutting down in his strikeout rate in 2012. If you notice from looking at the numbers, he has traded speed for power, upping his home run total while attempting fewer stolen bases each season, though his number was even lower than expected last season because he was only successful on 12 of 21 attempts.
-2013 Fantasy Projection for Austin Jackson
I think the upside for Jackson is he turns in his first 20-20 season of his career. He just turned 26 in February so he is just starting to hit his peak years of performance so I expect to see...
