Thousands attend Tennessee concert without masks or distancing

The first big concert in months was held over the weekend in Tennessee, without much in the way of facemasks or social distancing.

About a thousand fans attended a concert by country artist Chase Rice on Saturday.  Officials say everyone who attended was given a temperature check and free hand sanitizer, and all venue employees wore masks and gloves.

While the show was held in an outdoor arena, very few in the crowd were reportedly wearing masks or trying to keep six feet away from their fellow concertgoers.

Like most of the U.S., Tennessee has seen a spike in coronavirus cases over the last 14 days.

Does this mean we’ll see more concerts soon, or will this end up being a one-time thing?  Was it reckless to hold the concert?
