Roger Taylor: Queen would still be making music if Freddie Mercury were alive

Queen drummer Roger Taylor says if Freddie Mercury were alive, the band would still be making music today.

During an interview with BBC Radio 6, Taylor described Mercury as “my closest friend” and said “I do believe we would still be doing stuff together because it was a great collaboration”.

Queen’s current frontman, Adam Lambert, has said he won’t record new music with the band, “because to me Queen is Freddie”.

Do you think Queen would still be making music today if Freddie were around?  Would it hold up to their classic material?
