Lynyrd Skynyrd were in the middle of their farewell tour when the pandemic struck. Now they’re heading back out on the road – and never mind the ‘farewell’ part.
The Southern Rock legends just announced the ‘Big Wheels Keep On Turnin’ Tour’, kicking off next week in Forest City, Iowa and wrapping up Nov. 19th in Bossier City, Louisiana.

Tesla will join the band on most dates as a support act. Tickets go on sale this Friday, June 11th.
So why is the band dropping its farewell tour? Guitarist Gary Rossington says the pandemic made him think “Maybe it’s not our time to go”.
