Grand Rapids is once again decked out in red and white as Pulaski Days kicks off its 53rd annual celebration, running from September 28 to October 5. What began in 1972 as a weekend festival supporting local Polish halls has grown into a week-long cultural extravaganza, uniting the community through food, music, and tradition.
Thirteen Polish halls across the city are opening their doors to the public, offering authentic Polish cuisine, live polka bands, and a warm welcome to all. Highlights of the week include:
Kielbasa Eating Contest – October 1 at 6th Street Hall
Pulaski Parade – October 4, stepping off on Michigan Street
Polka Mass – October 5 at St. Anthony of Padua
Raffle Drawing – October 5 at Little Hall
