Michigan drivers are enjoying a welcome drop in gas prices, with the statewide average now sitting at $2.70 per gallon for regular unleaded—down 18 cents from last month and 44 cents below this time last year. A full 15‑gallon tank now costs about $40, giving motorists some much-needed relief.
Grand Rapids is among the state’s cheapest, averaging just $2.53 per gallon, alongside Traverse City and Marquette.
