Former Michigan Wolverines linebackers coach Chris Partridge has filed a federal lawsuit against the University of Michigan, alleging he was wrongfully terminated during the fallout from the NCAA’s 2023 in‑person scouting and sign‑stealing investigation.
Partridge, who was dismissed in November 2023 as the NCAA probed claims that staffer Connor Stalions had orchestrated an illicit advanced‑scouting operation, argues that his firing violated his Fourteenth Amendment right to due process and damaged his professional reputation. The lawsuit states that the university “unjustly terminated” him and spread “false and damaging information” about his conduct.
