Grand Rapids is once again responding to noise complaints tied to the new Acrisure Amphitheater—and yeah, people are still talking.
According to a report from WOOD TV city officials acknowledged ongoing concerns about how far concert sound is traveling. Since opening in May, reports have come in from residents miles away who say they can hear everything from bass to full songs—especially during louder, bass-heavy shows.
City leaders say they’re taking those concerns seriously, but also pointed out that sound can vary depending on weather, wind, and even the type of artist performing.
