Bryan Adams issues Canadian protest song “51st State”

Bryan Adams is a proud Canadian, and that pride was set to music in his new song “51st State.” The Ontario-bred musician released a protest song aimed at President Donald Trump yesterday, coincidentally on Canada Day. The lyrics are not subtle: “We’re way better hand in hand/ But the 49th parallel/ Has become a line drawn in the sand/ Let me give it to you straight/ When you’re talking about my home/ You better show some respect/ Cuz up here we take care of our own.”
