Your bowl of Trix just got a little more natural.
General Mills announced it has officially removed artificial colors from all of its U.S. cereal products and plans to eliminate them from its entire U.S. retail portfolio by the end of 2027. The company says about 90% of its retail products have already made the switch.
The move comes as food manufacturers face increasing pressure to phase out synthetic food dyes. General Mills says it will continue introducing new products with ingredients consumers recognize and trust, while also expanding options with more protein and fiber.
