A “divorce expert” is speaking out against “weaponized pooping.” Author/podcaster Olivia Howell is accusing men of taking absurdly long bathroom visits as an excuse to “avoid spending time with their families and to avoid responsibilities.”
Howell says that when a man shuts that bathroom door, he ceases to be a member of a family and instantly becomes a “private citizen.”
In her eyes, what makes the bathroom different than just postponing a hobby is that using the can is a “non-negotiable task” that one person can’t reasonably deny the other.
So much so that when there’s a big blow-out in the home…as far as a fight, and not the bathroom-related kind…announcing that you have to use the restroom is a way to break from the tension and keep to yourself for a bit.
