The NFL has suspended two game officials following separate confrontations with players during Sunday’s games. According to the league, line judge Jeff Seeman received a two-game suspension after being caught on camera swearing at Arizona Cardinals tight end Trey McBride during Arizona’s loss to the New York Giants.
The NFL Players Association called Seeman’s actions unacceptable and urged the league to hold officials to the same standards as players. The suspensions were issued by NFL Vice President of Officiating Ramon George. [wzzm13.com]
