13 On Your Side is reporting the DeltaPlex Arena will be closing permanently on July 31.
This was Grand Rapids’ main concert venue before Van Andel was built in the mid 90’s.
The venue was home to a number of semi-professional sports teams along with the Golden Gloves boxing championship.
