Big changes are coming to how Detroit sports fans will watch their favorite teams. The Detroit Tigers and Detroit Red Wings have officially announced they’re leaving the FanDuel Sports Network and its parent company, Main Street Sports Group, in favor of a groundbreaking new broadcast partnership with Major League Baseball and Ilitch Sports + Entertainment.
Beginning with the 2026 MLB season, MLB will take over production and distribution of Tigers broadcasts. The Red Wings will follow suit, transitioning after the 2025–26 NHL season into the new format for the 2026–27 campaign.
