According to multiple reports, West Michigan icon Bob Sullivan has passed away.
He owned Sullivan’s Carpet and Furniture. Sullivan had a big hand in the game of baseball as well. He owned Grand Rapids Sullivan’s baseball team, and was responsible for helping many players reach the MLB level.
Sullivan was named after what was formerly known as Valley Field on the west side of the city.
