With Lent beginning on February 18, churches and community groups across West Michigan are rolling out their annual lineup of fish fries and meatless meals. According to WOOD TV, here is a list of places in Grand Rapids starting Friday:
- Casino Club of Grand Rapids | Fridays through April 3 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. | Cash only: $14 adults, $7 for kids
- Grand Rapids Elks Lodge 48 | Fridays from Feb. 20 through April 3 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.
- Jackson Street Hall – Polish National Aid Society | Fridays Feb. 20 through March 27 at 5 p.m.
- Knights of Columbus Council 3104 | Fridays Feb. 20 through April 3 from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
- Kosciuszko Hall | Fridays Feb. 20 through April 3
- St. Alphonsus Parish | Fridays, Feb. 20 to March 27 from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. | Dine in and takeout, $16 adults, $14 seniors, $6 kids
- St. Isidore Parish | Fridays from Feb. 20 to March 27 from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. | Dine in or takeout, $15 adults, $6 kids
- St. Paul the Apostle Parish | Fish & shrimp tacos | March 6 and March 27 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
- St. Jude Parish | Fridays from Feb. 20 through March 27 from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. | Cash or check only: $15 adults, $14 seniors, $6 kids
- St. Ladislaus Aid Society | Fridays from Feb. 20 through March 27 from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
