It’s been 16 years since we last heard new music from Peter Frampton, but the wait is nearly over. Yesterday the legend announced his first album of all new music since 2010’s “Thank You Mr. Churchill” will be coming out this spring. The lead single, “Buried Treasure,” is a tribute to Tom Petty, consisting of lyrics built largely from Petty song titles, and features keyboard contributions from Benmont Tench of the Heartbreakers. “Carry The Light” comes out May 15th.
I’m very excited to announce my new album Carry The Light is coming May 15th. It’s my first album of all new original music in 16 years.
This record is a very special one for me. I got to write and produce it with my son Julian, as well as work with some wonderful friends. pic.twitter.com/ehwzCUY0mp
