Ted Nugent said he wasn’t going to tour any more; he didn’t say he wasn’t going to play live. On Friday, the Motor City Madman revealed his first set of live performances for 2026. For clarity: Nugent embarked on his “Adios Mofos” farewell tour back in 2023, but he even said at the time this didn’t mean he was done with the stage. “The musical dream will continue but I’m not going on tour anymore because hotels are jail,” he explained.
His newly announced concert schedule plays into that, with ten dates spread over nearly three months. His first show was over the weekend in Round Mountain, Texas; he’s also booked shows in Scottsdale, Arizona, Waco, Texas and more before his final show June 12 in Grand Junction, Colorado. The Nuge did leave the door open for additional shows, however.
