Not everyone is loving the sound of Grand Rapids’ new Acrisure Amphitheater.
The venue is exempt from the city’s standard noise ordinance, which means concerts can run a little louder and later than typical rules allow. Most shows are expected to wrap up by 11 p.m., unless there are delays. Some nearby residents say they can hear concerts from more than a mile away. One neighbor told WOOD TV they could clearly hear multiple songs from their backyard during opening night.
