One of the positive aspects of the FIFA World Cup is that foreign visitors are getting a real look at America…and they’re saying it varies drastically from what they’d seen and heard from the media in their home countries.
Several visitors from Britain said they were expecting Americans to be “rude, inhospitable and unsafe,” but they’re finding the reality to be the exact opposite…with many saying we owe America an apology for all the false assumptions they’d been fed.
Oliver Henry even started a GoFundMe hoping people would pony up enough cash to allow him to stay in the USA for the rest of the World Cup…and his $10K goal has almost been hit.
