Bluegrass superstar and Michigan native Billy Strings is speaking out after an audience member threw an object that struck him in the head during a recent performance in Fishers, Indiana.
The incident happened while Strings was interacting with the crowd when an object came flying from the audience and hit him on stage. The Grammy-winning musician immediately stopped and voiced his frustration, questioning why anyone would throw something at a performer.
At his Fishers residency kickoff on Thursday, Billy Strings was hit in the head by an object thrown by a fan.

Strings responded in a funny way during his next show. He came out on stage in a hockey helmet.
