One of West Michigan’s favorite traditions is back. Pulaski Days officially kicked off Sunday in Grand Rapids with a flag-raising ceremony, marking the start of the weeklong celebration of Polish culture and heritage.
For more than 50 years, the event has brought together local Polish social clubs, families, and community members to honor Revolutionary War hero and Polish immigrant Casimir Pulaski.
The festivities continue throughout the week, leading up to Saturday’s Pulaski Days Parade on Grand Rapids’ west side. Check out the list of events happening at different clubs leading up to Saturday below.
