Today is a big day for hunters in the State of Michigan.
It’s the first day of bow/archery season, meaning hunters are in the woods trying to claim their first deer of the season. However, there’s been a big change to regulations with deer hunting this year.
According to a report from FOX 17, eHarvest Tags will be in effect for the first time.
“The electronic harvest tagging (eHarvest tags) allow hunters who buy a deer license through the Michigan DNR Hunt Fish app the ability to immediately receive an eHarvest tag on their smartphone. This will allow them to validate the tag electronically rather than attach a paper kill tag.”
