The Rolling Stones released their latest album, “Foreign Tongues,” just three months ago, but there are reports that they’ve returned to the studio. Jazz saxophonist Courtney Pine revealed that he recorded with Mick Jagger just weeks ago.

Talking to BBC Radio 3’s “Private Passions,” Pine said: “I’ve just done another session a couple of weeks ago with him [Jagger] for The Rolling Stones.” Pine has worked with Jagger before, playing saxophone on his 1993 solo album “Wandering Spirit.”
There’s no official confirmation that the latest session is intended for a new Stones project, but the news follows Jagger revealing to “NME” back in June that he had already begun writing new music before “Foreign Tongues” had even been released.
