Bryan Adams has released a new song titled “Lake Ontario,” which critiques President Trump’s decision to rename the lake “Lake America,” stating, “It’s a first nations name – not an executive order.”
In his statement about the song, Adams emphasizes the enduring nature of Lake Ontario, saying, “Empires and regimes, dictators and kings, they all come and go. Lake Ontario is forever.”
The upcoming album, “How’s It Goin’,” is described as a concept album focused on Canada, featuring track titles that reflect the country’s landscapes and history, such as “51st State” and “When Canada Joined Newfoundland.”
