Brian Vander Ark is the lead singer and principal songwriter for The Verve Pipe, a band that has sold over 3 million albums worldwide and produced a string of hit singles, including the #1 song “The Freshmen”.Born on June 19, 1964, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Brian’s musical journey began with the band His Boy Elroy before he formed The Verve Pipe in 1992.

In addition to his success with The Verve Pipe, Brian has released several solo albums, starting with “Resurrection” in 2003.His solo career includes four studio albums and numerous tours, including the unique Lawn Chairs and Living Rooms House Concert Series, where he has performed over 800 shows in the homes of his fans.

Brian is also an accomplished actor, having appeared in films such as “Rock Star” and “Dead & Breakfast”.He continues to live in Michigan, where he remains active in the music scene, both as a performer and a storyteller.
