Viewers of “The 100th: Billy Joel at Madison Square Garden” were left fuming when CBS cut to local news during the Piano Man’s “Piano Man”.
CBS blamed the delay from the 2024 Masters Tournament for the early ending, angering fans who took their frustration straight to social media.
However, CBS ultimately apologized for the error and will re-air the full concert on April 19th.
The concert special, filmed on March 28th, is currently available for streaming on Paramount+.
