Rangers Blast Black Sabbath’s ‘Iron Man’ To Lure Bear Out Of Tree

Wildlife rangers in Colorado unleashed the power of heavy metal to lure a sleeping bear out of a tree.

Officials with Colorado Parks and Wildlife Northeast Region were staking out a bear that had been terrorizing trash cans in the town of Golden, about 15 miles outside of Denver.

After a few hours, they decided to blast Black Sabbath’s “Iron Man” over a loudspeaker to wake it up. Video shows the bear take notice as the ranger jokes “Now if he starts banging his head, we’ve got a problem.”

Unfortunately, vintage Black Sabbath riffs weren’t enough to scare the bear out of the tree. It eventually came down after about five hours.
