Two legendary singers on one legendary song. Steve Perry has brought on Willie Nelson for a slowed down, even more dramatic version of the Journey classic, “Faithfully.”

The newly-recorded song is a cash grab, but a charitable one. Proceeds of the song will go to Farm Aid, the charity Willie has been part of for four decades.

About the song, Perry said, “No one has a voice or vocal phrasing anything like Willie Nelson. Singing this duet with Willie has been something I’ve always wanted to do…I’m so proud of what we have accomplished together.” Willie commented, “Working with Steve Perry on ‘Faithfully’ was a meaningful experience. It was a pleasure to collaborate on this song. I’m proud that we could create something meaningful and use it to give back through Farm Aid.”
