Billy Joel, who was ramping up for a busy 2025-2026, has put all his professional plans on hold due to a serious medical issue. For at least the next year, the Piano Man has canceled all concert appearances after being diagnosed with Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus (NPH).
The brain condition was made worse by recent concert performances, leading to problems with hearing, vision and balance. Canceled dates include solo shows and stops with Sting, Rod Stewart and Stevie Nicks through July 2026; back in March, Joel had cancelled all his shows through June due to an “undisclosed medical condition.”
