Here’s a little good news ahead of the big holiday weekend.

FOX 17 is reporting that gas prices have dropped below $5 a gallon in some spots of West Michigan.

The average price per gallon in Kent County right now is $4.99, which is below the $5.20 average across the state of Michigan.
