The 2024 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees were announced during “American Idol” by Ryan Seacrest and Lionel Richie.

Iconic artists in the class are Mary J. Blige, Cher, the Dave Matthews Band, Foreigner, Peter Frampton, Kool & the Gang, Ozzy Osbourne, and A Tribe Called Quest.

The late Jimmy Buffett will receive the Music Excellence award, alongside Dionne Warwick, MC5, and others.

Suzanne de Passe will be honored with the Ahmet Ertegun Award.

The ceremony will stream on Disney+ on October 19th.
