Legacy artists have been selling off their song catalogs for big bucks in recent years – but the latest rumored deal might dwarf them all.

According to Bloomberg, Queen is in talks with Sony Music to sell their catalog for a whopping $1 billion.

If the rumors are true, it would nearly double the $550 million Sony paid for Bruce Springsteen’s catalog in 2021, and triple the $300 million paid for the KISS catalog earlier this year.
